Carli obtained the LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch, whereafter she joined Etzold-Duvenhage to commence her candidate legal training.

During her legal training, Carli participated in the Louis M Brown International Client Counseling Competition 2007. After winning the competition locally, she and her team partner represented Namibia and competed against teams from 17 other countries in the international round in Australia.

She was admitted as an attorney during 2007, and became a partner of the firm in June 2010. She was admitted as Notary Public during 2013. Since 2012, Carli has been a keen lecturer in Civil Procedure in the Magistrate’s Court, Prescription and Costs at the Justice Training Centre. In 2015, Carli was appointed as a court-accredited mediator. As from 1st March 2019, Carli practises as consultant of the firm.

Carli is long-standing member of the Law Society of Namibia and has been the President of the Young Lawyers Association of Namibia from 2015. She serves on the Ethics Committee and is the current Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee.

Carli focuses on general civil litigation, family law and debt recovery in both the High Court and Magistrate’s Court.
